Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

ConvertAll is a browser-based file conversion tool. Your privacy comes first: conversions run directly in your browser whenever possible, so your files never leave your device. This page explains what happens when that isn't possible and how we handle your data.

Files you upload

For most conversions (images, PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, audio) the file is processed entirely on your device. The file is read into your browser's memory, converted, and offered back to you as a download. It is not uploaded to any server and is not stored anywhere.

When a conversion requires server-side processing, the file is sent securely to our servers, processed, and deleted immediately after the result is returned. We do not keep copies of your files.

Private storage

Any file that must be uploaded is stored privately. No public URL is generated. Access follows your app's permissions, and links to your files cannot be discovered or opened by anyone else.

Google uploads

ConvertAll does not upload your files to Google, Google Drive, or any third-party cloud service as part of a conversion. If you connect a Google account (for example, to import from or export to Google Drive), that connection uses Google's official OAuth and is governed by Google's own privacy policy. We only request the minimum permissions needed for the action you chose, and we never see or store your Google password.

What we collect

  • Your email address — only if you create an account or are invited.
  • Basic usage analytics — aggregate counts of conversions and errors, no file contents.
  • Conversion history — a record of your past conversions, visible only to you, so you can re-download results.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third parties.

Your choices

You can clear your conversion history at any time from the Settings page. You can delete your account and associated data by contacting us. Disconnecting a Google account revokes our access immediately.
